Great selection, the people there were super helpful! I asked a bunch questions and they did not treat me like the inconvinience I was hahah. I got an awesome new plant but wanted to but 50 other ones.
We love Crystal Star Nursery. The people at CSN are lovely. They have a wide selection of rare plants. The substrate amendments are well priced compared to other places and excellent quality. I've bought quite a lot of Hoya's and a few succulents there. All my plants are thriving and in tip top shape. I don't have to worry about any pests problems. I wish I could go there every day? I've now got my whole family hooked on the plant hobby. I've experienced an online "treasure hunt" for plants as well and it was an exciting experience. I've received two plant orders from this nursery in the past several months, as well as an order of planting supplies. Orders are quickly filled and sent, communication is excellent. And the PLANTS! Oh, the plants are wonderful--healthy, well grown, reasonably priced and in excellent shape when they arrived. All are thriving. Love supporting a Canadian family nursery.
I've purchased 10+ succulent/cacti from here and they are always in great shape. The selection is fantastic - you will even find some rare gems. I don't personally collect orchids but they seem to have a wide variety of cultivars. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I love supporting a smaller family business like this vs the big stores. I can't recommend them enough
Received 2 succulents in the mail and I was very impressed with how well they were packaged. Both came in perfect condition and one of them was even flowering! Will absolutely be ordering from this shop again and I highly recommend
I highly recommend Crystal Star Nursery for your Orchid and Plant needs! Being a first time customer, I took a chance and I'm Very Happy that I did. My new orchids arrived completely protected in the packaging. Not only do my Orchids have healthy roots and leaves, due to the care taken for shipping, all of the buds and flowers were still in tact and Beautiful! Crystal is a joy and professional to communicate with. You can tell she and her family truly take care in providing top quality plants and great customer service. One Month Update: I received my Orchids on April 22, 2025. A little over a month later, they have grown Beautifully with new roots, buds and flowers. Still just as healthy and thriving as the day they arrived. November Update: All three Gems are doing Wonderful! The Phal. Sogo Kooper x P. Liu's Twilight Rainbow (Pretty Yellow Flowers) are actually in their second set of blooms on a new stem as I'm writing this. I wanted to share the Beautiful Blooms of the Phal. LD's Bear Queen 'Mituo #5', which had no blooms during the previous posts. She has been in continuous bloom since June.
Lovely experience! The service was spectacular, staff was super nice and helpful, and answered all of my questions. They also had a great collection with tons of tropical plants, succulents, flowers, and much more. They even sell adorable pot planters! Highly recommend. :)
