I had very good experience at 404 Stone Newmarket location recently. I wanted to build up a small garden in my backyard by myself. My order is not a big order but Amy patiently answer all the questions I had. She has very good knowledge for all product they had and give me very helpful advise. And help me find good pavers to match my budget. Really surprised for all service she provided to me. Thank you Amy. Good service!!
I cannot say enough great things about this place. I went in knowing nothing about stone and not really knowing what i wanted. Jason took the time with me to show me around and pick the right stone. The ladies at the counter then provided me with a quote, even young Charlie was nice! Just top notch customer service! Felt like i was dealing with a team who knew exactly what to recommend and asked the right questions to identify my needs. Thank you 404! amazing.
We had a tremendous experience with Jennifer at 404 Stone near Newmarket. For any of you who have gone shopping for interlock, flagstone etc, it can be quite intimidating and confusing. If you don't get a great person to help, you can make a big mistake. Who wants 2,000 pounds of stone in your front yard that you're not sure about. Fortunately, 404 Stone was the right place and Jennifer was the right person and she was an enormous help. Super patient, incredibly knowledgeable who provided great direction. We knew we were in good hands with her right from the start. She even followed up with a few phone calls to check on a few small details to make sure everything was perfect. People in the office and guys in the yard all had smiles on their faces. This place really cares about their customers. Thanks for the great price, and the amazing guidance. We can't wait to see our new front yard!
The inventory is much smaller than the Stouffville branch. The female staff was quite helpful but there was another male staff there that just has a really bad attitude. He barely acknowledged my husband and I. And when he does interact with us, it is with such a condescending tone that makes me never want to go back to this branch.
Charlotte is great if you are shopping at the Newmarket/EG location. Friendly and efficient. If you are at the Stoufville location Deanna is eager to assist and makes for an easy shopping experience. Good job to everyone a 404 stone.
I ordered 1-tonne of 3/4" clear gravel and was charged $172/delivered. I based my purchase from 404 Stone on the 5-star reviews. However, I should have done my due diligence because I could have purchased 3-tonnes for that price from another local reputable supplier. That other supplier has 1-tonne listed at $89 on their website - delivered! I paid 3 times the cost. Clearly it doesn't take much to find a few friends to post 5-star reviews, but don't be fooled like I was. Do your homework and shop around I'm sure you will find better prices.
